A total of 27 Young Doctors from the Medical Education Study Program (PSPD) FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang the day before yesterday (1/2/2021) and yesterday (2/2/2021) received the first phase of the Covid-19 vaccination organized by Karsa Husada Batu Hospital.

Since Thursday (27/1/2021), the Hospital, which has collaborated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang as the Main Teaching Hospital, has been scheduled to carry out Covid-19 vaccinations targeting all healthcare workers including doctors, nurses, midwives, hospital employees, including young doctors currently undergoing training at Karsa Husada Batu Hospital. Vaccination for young doctors was carried out in two stages, namely on Monday (1/2/2021) and Tuesday (2/2/2021) with a total of approximately 500 healthcare workers participating.

According to Vicki Andrean, S.Ked., one of the 2016 PSPD Young Doctors from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, after receiving the first vaccination, the second vaccination will be carried out two weeks after the first vaccination. "We are happy to have been vaccinated. Furthermore, we are also very grateful for the attention that has been given by Karsa Husada Batu Hospital, which has allowed us to be included in the priority recipients of this first wave of vaccines," said Vicki.

According to Dr. Bambang Rishardana, Sp.B, FINACS, Medical Services Coordinator of Karsa Husada Batu Hospital, this immunization used the Sinovac Covid-19 Vaccine which was obtained directly from the Indonesian Government through the Ministry of Health. When asked about his condition after receiving the vaccine, Dr. Dana said, "I did not feel any symptoms at all as I have controlled asthma, so this vaccine is considered very safe and can be expected to form immunity against SARS-CoV-2 virus infection." "Therefore, do not be afraid to get vaccinated, because it has been proven, God willing, it is safe," he said. The National Vaccination Program launched by the Indonesian Government is expected to stop the Covid-19 outbreak.
