Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the Study Program

In accordance with the Rector’s Decree Number 2793 of 2025 concerning the Vision and Mission of the Faculty, Postgraduate Program, Institutions, Internal Supervisory Units, and Technical Implementation Units of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in 2025. It is stated that the Vision, Mission and Objectives of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences are as follows:

Vision

To become an excellent and internationally reputable Bachelor of Medicine Study Program in developing medicine and Hajj health through the integration of science and Islam.

Mision
  1. To provide high-quality, integrative, and adaptive education to produce ulul albab medical graduates who integrate Islam and science.
  2. To develop medical sciences of excellence and international reputation with a focus on Hajj health.
  3. To advance medical education innovation, converged with research and community service outcomes, and adaptive to technological progress.
Goals

Each mission has corresponding goals that serve as a directional guide for implementing the vision and mission, namely:

  1. To produce Ulul Albab medical graduates who possess academic competence, professional skills, and Islamic ethics through the provision of high-quality, integrative, and adaptive education based on Islamic and scientific values.
  2. To establish academic expertise and centers of excellence that serve as national and international references in the field of medicine, with a distinctive focus on Hajj health.
  3. To create an innovative, convergent, and technology-responsive medical education system that integrates research and community service outcomes to enhance the quality and relevance of medical education.
