Objective
- Ensuring the fulfillment of Higher Education Standards (Dikti Standards) in a systematic and sustainable manner, so that a culture of quality grows and develops.
- Creating a control system for the implementation of higher education by universities independently, because universities have autonomy in implementing higher education.

- Controlling the provision of higher education by universities to realize quality higher education
Cycle
Internal Quality Assurance System activities are carried out sequentially and continuously according to the SPMI cycle chain. All processes are carried out to continuously improve quality. The SPMI cycle aligns with PPEPP (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement) which is carried out starting from the faculty, study program, work unit, and lecturers.
The technical implementation unit for SPMI in the Medical Profession Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, is the Medical Education and Quality Control Unit (UPKKM), which has been designated as the Quality Assurance Group (GPM). In carrying out its duties, the Study Program GPM coordinates with the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (UPM-F).
