The Medical Profession Study Program held a Leadership Improvement Activity which was held on February 10-11, 2025. This activity was attended by the Vice Dean for General Administration, Planning and Finance, FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Ach. Nashichuddin, MA., Head of the Medical Profession Study Program and dr. Arief Alamsyah, MARS, Dipl.FM as a resource person at this activity. This activity took place at the FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang environment and was attended by 46 young doctors. The purpose of this activity is as part of the provisioning process before heading to UKMPPD which requires prospective doctors to not only excel academically and in skills but also have good leadership skills. As prospective doctors, they must be able to lead, make the right decisions, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and demonstrate high integrity. All of this requires leadership skills that are continuously honed, both in the context of medical practice and in social and professional interactions.

The event began with remarks from the Head of the Medical Profession Study Program, Dr. Iwal Reza Ahdi, Sp. PD. He hopes that this activity will create competent leaders and build a better character as future doctors. This hope is also in line with the hopes of the Deputy Dean for General Administration, Planning and Finance, FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Ach. Nashichuddin, MA. And after the remarks, it continued with a material delivery session by Dr. Arief Alamsyah, MARS, Dipl.FM with the team.

This activity lasted for two days, on the second day the young doctors did an outbound in the courtyard of the ITC FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang mosque. This outbound activity took place lively. After the outbound activity, the activity was closed with the presence of the Dean of FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibarhim Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, PW., M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K) along with the Head of the Medical Profession Study Program.

At the closing of this activity, a speech was given by the secretary of the medical profession study program, Dr. Putri Wulan Akbar, M.Ked., Trop. Hoping that after this activity, it will provide motivation and inspiration to achieve common goals, one of which is the goal of passing UKMPPD together, and always being ready to grow and develop, both in success and failure. This hope is also in line with the hopes of the Dean of FKIK UIN Maualan Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, PW., M.Kes., Sp.Rad (K). The event was closed with impressions and messages from the representative of young doctors, Dhiaz Taupiq Anwari. Hope that this event can become a program that takes place every year, especially for the class that will face the final exam because according to him, togetherness and solidarity are needed to achieve the common goal of success in UKMPPD. This activity teaches to lead oneself from ego, laziness, and a professional attitude.
