UKMPPD 2025 NATIONAL OSCE EXAMINER TRAINING

Batu, April 26, 2025 – The Medical Profession Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held a National OSCE Examiner Training UKMPPD. This activity was attended by 23 training participants consisting of clinical educators from the main teaching hospital and network or satellite hospitals, starting from Karsa Husada Batu Hospital, Hasta Brata Batu Hospital and Malang City Hospital, showing high enthusiasm and commitment in improving the quality of medical education in Indonesia.

This training itself has been implemented for the 3rd time at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, this activity took place for 1 full day on Saturday, April 26, 2025, with Dr. Eriko Prawestiningtyas, Sp. F as a resource person in this event.

This training was opened by Dr. Iwal Reza Ahdi, Sp.PD as the head of the medical profession study program, and expressed his hope that the participating doctors who have received this training will be able to apply the knowledge gained in the medical education process so as to produce graduates who are better prepared to face challenges in the clinical world. We express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the chairman of the committee, Dr. Yuliono Trika Nur Hasan, Sp. M and Dr. Nurfianti Sp.OG as the event coordinator and our fellow committee members who have collaborated and successfully organized this training activity," said Iwal Then.

The training agenda consists of 2 activities, the first began with a presentation of material by Dr. Eriko Prawestiningtyas, Sp. F which contains pretests, OSCE materials as a Competency Test for Medical Professional Study Program Students, Becoming a National OSCE examiner, OSCE Standard Setting and Discussion. The second activity is an OSCE Simulation where training participants are expected to become competent examiners after receiving the material provided. In this activity, simulated patients, OSCE exam participants and an OSCE CENTER room were also present as a supporter of the OSCE examiner participant assessment simulation. After the OSCE CENTER room was set up in such a way that it complies with the UKMPPD National Exam standards, the exam participants checked the equipment and assessed the exam participants.

The final agenda was filled with a question and answer discussion regarding the OSCE exam simulation and it was hoped that the participants would be more prepared and competent so that they would have the appropriate competency standards in the UKMPPD National OSCE Exam activities.
