Monday (29/04/2024). A historic moment once again occurred at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Malang. In a meaningful ceremony, 20 doctors who graduated from the 4th Batch of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN took their oath of doctorate at the Auditorium of Campus II UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. After going through the academic stage of education for 7 semesters and the professional stage for 4 semesters, by the permission of Allah SWT, 20 prospective new doctors have successfully passed the Student Competency Test for the Medical Professional Program (UKMPPD) and were declared to have graduated in March 2024 and received their medical degrees.

The oath-taking procession was attended directly by the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati Prabowowati Wajib., M.Kes., Sp.Rad (K), Deputy Dean 1 Prof. Dr. Apt. Roihatul Muti'ah, SF.,M.Kes., Deputy Dean 2 Ach. Nashichuddin, MA., Deputy Dean 3 dr.Alvi Milliana, M.Biomed., Head of the Medical Education Study Program dr. Tias Pramesti Griana, M.Biomed., Head of the Medical Profession Study Program dr. Iwal Reza Ahdi, Sp.PD., Head of the Community Health Service Center Prof. Dr. dr. Bambang Pardjianto, Sp. BP. RE (K). This event was also attended by representatives from the Main Teaching Hospital, namely the Deputy Director of Services at Karsa Husada Batu Hospital dr. Benny Marcel P.,Sp.OG., and also representatives from the network education vehicle namely the Head of Health Resource Services at the Batu City Health Office, dr. Icang Sarazin, and representative of Lawang Mental Hospital Heny Pramuta Sari, S.Kep.Ners.

The first speech was delivered by the Director of RSUD Karsa Husada Batu, represented by Dr. Benny Marcel P., Sp.OG. "We all know that reaching this point is not an easy struggle. Your struggle does not end here, after this there is still a long journey waiting for you in the future. We, your lecturers at RSUD Karsa Husada Batu, always support you all and are ready to help. Once again, we congratulate you and your families. And to the FKIK UIN Malang institution, we thank you for entrusting us to take part in educating future doctors, which is certainly a source of pride for us," said the Deputy Director of Services at RSUD Karsa Husada Batu.

In her remarks, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yuniati PW.,M. as the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang conveyed her congratulations and a message of dedication to the doctors who had just graduated and had sworn in the doctor's oath today. "First of all, I would like to congratulate and wish success to all the participants in the doctor's oath and their families who have worked hard to support you all to reach this point. The medical profession is a noble profession. When a doctor succeeds in curing a patient, he not only makes the patient happy, but also his family and those closest to him. Therefore, carry out your duties as trustworthy professional doctors. And I advise that wherever you work, always maintain the good name of our beloved alma mater," said the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang.

After the Inauguration of the New Doctors, an award was presented by Prof. Dr. dr. Bambang Pardjianto, Sp. BP. RE (K) to the best graduates of the March 2024 graduation period, namely Dr. Mahya Nailul 'Azizah, M.Biomed for the highest GPA of 3.72, Dr. Alya Labibah with the highest CBT UKMPPD score, and Dr. Syanindita Puspa Wardhani, M.Biomed with the highest OSCE UKMPPD score and the highest cumulative UKMPPD score. The awarding was accompanied by loud applause and congratulations from the audience.

Before the event concluded, the new doctors presented a special tribute to express their gratitude to their parents, lecturers, and the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang who have supported them in their endeavors. The event was emotional and sacred, accompanied by prayers of gratitude from the attendees.
