On Wednesday (January 12, 2022), the LAM-PTKes Assessor Team visited several educational facilities for young doctors from the Medical Profession Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, including Karsa Husada General Hospital in Batu City, Dr. Saiful Anwar Regional General Hospital in Malang, and Batu Community Health Center. The visit was part of the program's agenda. Accreditation of the Medical Education and Medical Profession Study Program, FKIK UIN Malang which lasts for 3 days starting from Monday (10/01/2022) to Wednesday (12/01/2022).

The LAM-PTKes Assessor Team tasked with conducting field assessments at the Medical Education and Medical Profession Study Program, FKIK UIN Malang, this time consisted of 3 people with backgrounds as educators in the medical faculty who came from 3 different institutions and regions. They are Dr. Titi Savitri Prihatiningsih, MA., M.Med.Ed., PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University; Dr. Sugito Wonodirekso, MS., from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia; and Dr. dr. H. Ahmad Yudianto, Sp.FM [K]., SH, M.Kes from the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University.

The assessors' first visit was to Karsa Husada Batu Hospital, which is the Main Teaching Hospital for the Medical Profession Study Program Co-Assistant of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Malang. There, the assessors received a warm welcome directly from the Director of the Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Rizal, MM., M.Kes, along with the hospital's leadership and staff. Not to forget, when the assessor team conducted an inspection of the facilities and clinical education process at the hospital, they were accompanied by clinical educators at Karsa Husada Batu Hospital. The field assessment process that took place at the Teaching Hospital was carried out by means of direct visits by the assessor team to the sections used by students for the learning process, such as: polyclinic service rooms, inpatient rooms, supporting facilities such as guard rooms, libraries and mini-laboratories. The assessors also conducted direct interviews with several students and clinical educators at the Hospital.

After leaving Karsa Husada General Hospital, Batu, the assessors continued their visit to the Forensic Installation of Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital, Malang, and the Batu Community Health Center. They were impressed by the support provided by Karsa General Hospital, both in terms of human resources and facilities. They were also impressed by the warm welcome from all stakeholders, both at the hospital and the community health center. Finally, the assessors conveyed the message that doctors involved in the educational process are expected to be good role models for FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang students.
