Malang, May 7, 2026 — Students of the Medical Profession Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Islamic Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held a joint prayer and istigosah activity as a form of spiritual endeavor in facing the 2026 National Competency Test for Medical Profession Students (UKNPDPD). The activity was held on Thursday (7/5/2026) and took place solemnly and full of hope.

Istigosah was attended by all medical professional students who will face the UKNPDPD exam, both the Computer Based Test (CBT) exam scheduled for May 17, 2026, and the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) exam on May 23, 2026. This activity is a momentum to pray for smoothness, ease, and the best results in the implementation of the national competency exam.

The event was also attended by faculty leaders, including the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Vice Dean, and the Head of the Medical Profession Study Program. The faculty leaders' presence provided moral support and motivation to students, encouraging them to remain optimistic and confident as they face the final stages of their medical education.

In his remarks, the head of the study program conveyed that preparation for the UKNPDPD is not only done through academic learning and clinical skills training, but also needs to be accompanied by a spiritual approach so that students have peace and confidence during the exam.

The istigosah (religious service) was filled with solemnity, with prayers chanted together. Students hoped this activity would strengthen their mental health, increase their enthusiasm for learning, and provide a path to achieving satisfactory results in the upcoming UKNPDPD exam.

Through this activity, FKIK UIN Malang demonstrates its commitment to assisting students not only academically, but also spiritually and mentally in developing professional and moral future doctors.
