Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang Achieve National Achievements at the 13th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Pediatric Society (PIT IKA) 2025

Graduates of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang have once again achieved a proud achievement on the national stage. Two doctors from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) have successfully brought honor to their alma mater, known as... Ulul Albab Campus through the prestigious scientific event 13th PIT IKA (Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Pediatric Society) which was held on 10–14 October 2025 at the Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel, Malang City.

This annual event, initiated by the Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI), is the largest scientific meeting in the country focusing on the development of pediatric health science. Hundreds of participants from across Indonesia, including medical students, general practitioners, specialist program participants (PPDS), and pediatricians, attended the event.

In the national competition, two graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine, UIN Maliki Malang, achieved outstanding results. Dr. Risna Afiatur Rosyida won an award. The Winner of Travel Scholarship Awards, while Dr. Vivian Fahmanissa Nur Fatharani was named as Best Free Paper Electronic Poster Presentation (Endocrinology Category).
Both of them succeeded in excelling among participants from various well-known medical institutions in Indonesia.

After receiving the award, Dr. Vivian expressed her gratitude for this achievement.

“"Thank God, this was a very valuable experience. We gained a lot of knowledge during this activity," he said enthusiastically. He hopes this achievement will encourage medical students to actively contribute to various scientific forums, both national and international.

Similarly, Dr. Risna said that her success was the result of hard work, perseverance, and support from her mentors and colleagues.

“The research and preparation process electronic poster paper "This was quite challenging. However, thanks to our enthusiasm for learning and the guidance of our lecturer, Dr. Lina Fitria Astari, Sp.A, M.Biomed, we were ultimately able to deliver the best results for UIN Malang," he said.

The achievements of these two doctors demonstrate that graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang possess high competence and competitiveness in the medical world. These achievements are expected to inspire students and other academics to continue to excel, develop their potential, and foster enthusiasm. Ulul Albab in integrating science for the advancement of children's health in Indonesia.
